It is a natural park that rarely touches the city center globally, and its area is 76.922㎢.
It spans across Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, and is divided into the Dobongsan area to the north and the Bukhansan area to the south, with Uiryung as the boundary. Sheer rock peaks, rugged mountains, and beautiful valleys blend harmoniously.
It has numerous historical and cultural relics, including Bukhansan Fortress with a 2,000-year history, and over 100 temples and hermitages.

Today's hike is to Seokguram from the Hoeryong Visitor Center.
(Seokguram? The one in Gyeongju? I'm curious.)
Many people came for a hike despite the chilly weather.
We are slowly ascending while enjoying the autumn leaves.
We came to a fork in the road: Hoeryongsa or Seokguram.
Let's head towards the curious Seokguram.
The uphill climb begins, and the path covered in fallen leaves is so charming.
There is Kim Gu's handwriting on the rock.
If you pass the rock, you can meet Seokguram.
This is Seokguram.
Inside Seokguram.
It's amazing that a hermitage was built inside a natural rock.
It's a great course because it's easy to go on a light trip.
National Park Designation Date: April 2, 1983.
