Located in the inland mountainous region of the central part of the Korean Peninsula, it is divided into the Guryong, Bugok, Hwanggol, Geumdae, and Seongnam areas,
and was also called Cheogaksan (赤岳山) because of its beautiful autumn foliage in shades of red.
It is located within a day trip from the metropolitan area.
You can enjoy different landscapes throughout the year, including azaleas and rhododendrons in spring, Korean white pines and lush forests and valleys in summer, autumn foliage in fall,
and snow scenery in winter.

The autumn foliage is expected to bloom around October 20th.
The mountain entry time is until 2 PM.
