Mount Woraksan is located across four cities and counties: Jecheon, Chungju, Danyang in North Chungcheong Province, and Mungyeong in North Gyeongsang Province.

It boasts beautiful scenery with huge rock formations, bizarre rocks, deep valleys, and ponds.

It has been called a 'sacred peak' since ancient times, and was a famous mountain where a sacrifice was held during the Silla Dynasty.

Majestic peaks such as the main peak, Yeongbong, and Mansubong rise up like a single painting of oriental art.

It is adjacent to Chungjuho Lake, making it even more scenic.

I got the stamp at the Samun-ri Visitor Center.

Then I moved to the Oksunbong & Gudambong parking lot.

Since it's winter, I started hiking wearing gaiters and crampons.

It starts with a gentle slope, so it's nice.

Finally, the stairs begin.

This is the Gudambong intersection.

I didn't know it at the time, but this is the highest point on today's hiking course.

The view is great.

Reached the summit.

You can charge your phone at the summit.

If you go a little further from the summit, you'll find the Oksunbong Observatory.

You can't get to the Oksunbong Suspension Bridge from here.
