Mount Worak is located across four cities and counties: Jecheon and Chungju cities, Danyang County in North Chungcheong Province, and Mungyeong City in North Gyeongsang Province.
It boasts a beautiful landscape where massive rock formations, peculiar rocks, deep valleys, and pools harmonize.
Since ancient times, it has been called a 'sacred peak' and was a famous mountain where sacrifices were offered during the Silla Dynasty.
Its magnificent peaks, including the main peak, Yeongbong Peak, and Mansubong Peak, rise like a traditional East Asian painting,
and the scenery is even more beautiful because of Chungju Lake.

I got the stamp at the Samun-ri Trail Support Center.
And then I moved to the Okseonbong and Gudambong parking lot.
Since it's a winter mountain climb, I'm wearing gaiters and crampons before starting the hike.
It starts with a gentle slope, so it's good.
Finally, the stairs begin.
This is the Gudambong intersection.
I didn't know it at the time, but this is the highest point of today's hiking course.
The view is great.
Reached the summit.
You can charge your cell phone at the summit.
If you go a little further from the summit, you will find the Okseonbong Observatory.
You can't go to the Okseonbong Suspension Bridge from here.
Tranggle hiking record
There are continuous gentle uphill and downhill paths, which allow you to experience the fun of hiking,
and the magnificent landscapes of Okseonbong delight the eyes. It's a great place for beginners to start their mountain climbing journey.
