What is Jirisan National Park?
Designated as Korea's first national park in 1967, Jirisan spans 483.022㎢, the largest area among mountain-type national parks, across 5 cities and counties in three provinces: Gyeongnam, Jeonnam, and Jeollabuk-do. It is a cradle of Buddhism, preserving many cultural assets such as Hwaeomsa Temple and Ssanggye-sa Temple, and a place that holds many twists and turns of modern and contemporary history. Numerous peaks stretch out like a screen, centered around Cheonwangbong Peak, Banya Peak, and Nogo Peak, with valleys nestled between about 20 ridges.
Today's course is from Seongsanjae Rest Area to Nogo Peak.

It's rewarding to look back at the path I've climbed.

I worked hard for a clean mountain.
