A brewery leading the globalization of makgeolli with modern production facilities and strict raw material management.
Established in 1928, Jojong Brewery has a long history and has grown into a company that exports makgeolli to over 30 countries worldwide. Their flagship product, Gapyeong Pine Nut Makgeolli, was selected as the official state dinner beverage at the Blue House in 2018, making headlines. It is characterized by its deep flavor due to low-temperature aging and its complete fermentation, which prevents it from overflowing even when shaken.
Uri Sul (주) has garnered attention with innovative products such as canned makgeolli and carbonated makgeolli. They offer a diverse range of over 40 types of makgeolli, incorporating ingredients like chestnuts, corn, and citrus fruits.
